System and Device Requirements

Wistudi is designed to provide a reliable and consistent experience across modern desktop devices.

Before creating or completing a learning experience, make sure your device, browser, screen size, and internet connection meet the recommended requirements below.

Some features may work differently depending on the device you are using.

Recommended Device

For the best experience, use Wistudi on a:

  • Desktop computer
  • Laptop computer
  • Chromebook with a supported browser

A desktop or laptop is strongly recommended for:

  • Creating Flows
  • Building Interactive Videos
  • Uploading and managing files
  • Adding and editing activities
  • Reviewing learner reports
  • Grading submissions
  • Delivering live learning experiences
  • Using advanced Creator Tools

Current Mobile Limitations

Wistudi is currently focused primarily on the desktop experience.

Some learner content may display on smaller screens, but the full platform is not currently optimised for complete use on mobile phones or tablets.

On mobile devices, you may experience limitations with:

  • Platform navigation
  • Flow creation
  • Interactive Video editing
  • Drag-and-drop activities
  • Workspace management
  • Learner reports
  • Manual grading
  • Live teaching controls
  • File uploads
  • Complex interactive Blocks

Where mobile access is restricted, Wistudi may display a notice explaining that the feature is available on desktop only.

For the most reliable experience, open Wistudi on a desktop or laptop browser.

Supported Browsers

Wistudi works best in a current version of a modern web browser.

Recommended browsers include:

  • Google Chrome
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Safari on macOS

Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge is recommended for the most consistent experience, especially when using content-creation and live teaching tools.

Keep Your Browser Updated

Use the latest available version of your browser whenever possible.

Older browser versions may cause issues such as:

  • Pages not loading correctly
  • Buttons not responding
  • Activities not displaying properly
  • Video playback problems
  • File uploads failing
  • Layout or navigation errors
  • Changes not saving correctly

Browser updates also provide important performance and security improvements.

Unsupported or Limited Browsers

Wistudi may not work correctly in:

  • Internet Explorer
  • Outdated browser versions
  • Browsers with limited modern web support
  • In-app browsers opened inside social media or messaging applications
  • Browsers with JavaScript disabled
  • Heavily restricted school or workplace browsers

When opening a Wistudi link from another application, it is better to open the link directly in a supported browser.

Recommended Screen Size

For general platform use, a screen width of at least 1280 pixels is recommended.

Larger screens provide a better experience when:

  • Building Flows
  • Editing Page layouts
  • Managing side panels
  • Viewing activity settings
  • Working with reports and tables
  • Managing multiple controls at the same time

A screen resolution of 1920 × 1080 or similar is recommended for content creators, instructors, and administrators.

Smaller laptop screens may still be supported, but some panels may be repositioned or collapsed to preserve usable space.

Browser Zoom

For the best layout, keep your browser zoom near 100%.

Using very high zoom levels may cause:

  • Buttons to move out of view
  • Panels to overlap
  • Tables to become difficult to use
  • Builder controls to collapse
  • Horizontal scrolling

If the interface appears too large or parts of the page are missing, reset your browser zoom to 100%.

Internet Connection

Wistudi requires an active internet connection.

A stable broadband, Wi-Fi, or wired connection is recommended.

A stronger connection is especially important when:

  • Uploading videos
  • Uploading large documents
  • Watching Interactive Videos
  • Joining live sessions
  • Saving complex Flows
  • Delivering live teaching
  • Downloading reports or resources

A slow or unstable connection may interrupt uploads, delay saving, or affect video playback.

Video Playback Requirements

Interactive Videos require a stable internet connection and a browser that supports modern video playback.

For the best experience:

  • Allow video playback in your browser
  • Keep the browser tab active during important activities
  • Use headphones or speakers when audio is included
  • Avoid opening too many high-bandwidth applications at the same time
  • Close unused browser tabs if performance becomes slow

If a video does not play, refresh the page and confirm that your browser is not blocking media playback.

Audio and Microphone Requirements

Some Wistudi experiences may include:

  • Video audio
  • Voice recording
  • Live teaching
  • Discussions
  • Conferencing tools
  • External meeting integrations

For these features, you may need:

  • Speakers or headphones
  • A microphone
  • Browser permission to use your microphone
  • Browser permission to play audio

Your browser may ask for permission the first time a microphone or related feature is used.

Camera Requirements

A camera may be required for certain live sessions, conferencing features, or activities that support image or video capture.

When needed, allow Wistudi or the connected service to access your camera.

Camera access is not required for every learning experience.

Browser Permissions

Some features depend on browser permissions.

You may be asked to allow access to:

  • Microphone
  • Camera
  • Notifications
  • Pop-up windows
  • File downloads
  • Clipboard
  • Media playback

Blocking these permissions may prevent some features from working correctly.

Only allow permissions that are relevant to the activity you are using.

Pop-Up Windows

Some integrations, sign-in processes, downloads, and external tools may open in a new browser tab or window.

If nothing happens after selecting an action, check whether your browser has blocked a pop-up.

Allow pop-ups for Wistudi when required.

Cookies and Local Storage

Wistudi may use browser cookies and local storage to support:

  • Sign-in sessions
  • Account security
  • User preferences
  • Progress saving
  • Platform navigation
  • Connected services

If cookies or local storage are blocked, you may experience sign-in problems or lose access to saved settings.

JavaScript

JavaScript must be enabled for Wistudi to work.

Disabling JavaScript may prevent:

  • Pages from loading
  • Activities from functioning
  • Content from saving
  • Navigation from responding
  • Interactive Videos from working
  • Reports from displaying

Most modern browsers enable JavaScript by default.

File Upload Requirements

Creators may upload files such as:

  • Images
  • Videos
  • PDF documents
  • Supporting resources
  • Assignment files
  • Profile images

Upload success depends on:

  • File type
  • File size
  • Internet connection
  • Available storage
  • Browser permissions
  • Platform upload limits

If a file does not upload, check its size and format, confirm that you have enough storage, and try again using a stable internet connection.

Storage Availability

Each account may have a storage limit.

Uploaded images, videos, documents, and other files count toward this limit.

If your storage is full, you may need to:

  • Delete unused files
  • Remove older media
  • Replace large files with smaller versions
  • Contact your account administrator
  • Increase your storage allowance when available

Storage limits may vary by account or plan.

School and Workplace Networks

Some schools, universities, and organisations restrict websites, video services, file uploads, or external integrations.

If Wistudi does not work correctly on a managed network, your IT administrator may need to allow:

  • Wistudi platform access
  • Video hosting services
  • File storage services
  • Authentication services
  • Email verification messages
  • Live conferencing integrations

Network restrictions can also block notifications, uploads, video playback, or sign-in redirects.

Email Access

You need access to a working email account to complete actions such as:

  • Registering
  • Verifying your account
  • Resetting your password
  • Receiving invitations
  • Receiving platform notifications

Check your spam or junk folder if an expected Wistudi email does not appear.

Recommended Desktop Setup for Creators

Creators and instructors should ideally use:

  • A desktop or laptop
  • A modern browser
  • A screen width of at least 1280 pixels
  • A stable broadband connection
  • Browser zoom set near 100%
  • Access to email
  • Enough storage for uploaded content
  • Headphones and a microphone for live delivery
  • A camera when required

Using a second monitor may also be helpful during live teaching, demonstrations, or report management, but it is not required.

Recommended Setup for Learners

Learners should ideally use:

  • A desktop or laptop
  • A supported modern browser
  • A stable internet connection
  • Speakers or headphones
  • Access to the email address linked to their Wistudi account
  • A microphone or camera when required by the activity

Learners should avoid switching devices during graded or timed activities unless instructed to do so.

Before Starting a Graded Activity

Before beginning an important or graded activity:

  • Confirm that your internet connection is stable.
  • Close unnecessary tabs and applications.
  • Make sure your device has enough battery.
  • Connect your charger when possible.
  • Check that the correct Wistudi account is signed in.
  • Confirm that audio, camera, or microphone permissions are working when required.
  • Do not refresh or close the page while a response is being submitted.

Only completed and successfully submitted activities may be saved.

  1. Refresh the page.
  2. Confirm that your internet connection is active.
  3. Use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
  4. Update your browser.
  5. Reset browser zoom to 100%.
  6. Sign out and sign in again.

5. Creating Your Wistudi Account

Creating a Wistudi account gives you access to learning experiences, personal progress, Creator Space, content creation tools, and learner management features.

You only need one account to learn, create, teach, and manage content across the platform.

This guide explains how to register, verify your email address, and complete the initial sign-up process.

Before You Begin

Before creating your account, make sure you have:

  • Access to a valid email address
  • A supported desktop browser
  • A stable internet connection
  • Permission to access verification emails
  • Your basic profile information ready

Use an email address that you can access regularly. Wistudi may use this address for account verification, password recovery, invitations, and important account notifications.

Creating an Account

1. Open Wistudi

Go to the Wistudi platform in a supported browser.

You may also arrive through a shared Flow or Interactive Video link sent by a creator, instructor, or organisation.

If the content requires an account, Wistudi will ask you to sign in or register before continuing.

2. Select Sign Up

On the sign-in page, select Sign Up or Create Account.

This opens the account registration form.

3. Enter Your Account Information

Complete the required fields.

These may include:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Password
  • Password confirmation
  • Agreement to platform terms or policies

Enter your name as you want it to appear across Wistudi.

Your email address must be valid and accessible because you may need it to verify your account.

Choosing a Secure Password

Create a password that is difficult for other people to guess.

A strong password should:

  • Be unique to Wistudi
  • Include a mix of letters and numbers
  • Include uppercase and lowercase characters when supported
  • Include a symbol when supported
  • Avoid your name or email address
  • Avoid common passwords
  • Not be reused from another account

Do not share your password with anyone.

If your school, workplace, or organisation manages your account, follow any password requirements provided by the administrator.

Accepting the Terms

Before completing registration, you may need to accept Wistudi’s:

  • Terms of Service
  • Privacy Policy
  • Data or communication preferences
  • Age or account eligibility requirements

Read the information before accepting.

You may not be able to create an account until all required agreements have been accepted.

Submitting the Registration Form

After completing the required information, select Create Account, Continue, or the equivalent registration action.

Wistudi will check the information you entered.

If there is a problem, an error message may appear.

Common registration errors include:

  • An invalid email address
  • A password that does not meet the requirements
  • Passwords that do not match
  • An email address that is already registered
  • A required field left empty
  • A required agreement not accepted

Correct the highlighted information and submit the form again.

Verifying Your Email Address

After registration, Wistudi may send a verification email to the address you provided.

Email verification helps confirm that:

  • The email address belongs to you
  • You can receive account notifications
  • Your account can be recovered later
  • Shared learning invitations reach the correct person

How to verify your email

  1. Open the inbox for the email address used during registration.
  2. Find the email from Wistudi.
  3. Open the verification message.
  4. Select the verification link or button.
  5. Return to Wistudi when prompted.

After verification, your account should become active.

If You Do Not Receive the Verification Email

The verification email may take a few minutes to arrive.

Check the following:

  • Spam or junk folder
  • Promotions or updates folder
  • The email address entered during registration
  • Mailbox storage limits
  • School or workplace email filters
  • Blocked sender settings

You may also be able to select Resend Verification Email from the Wistudi sign-in page.

Do not request too many verification emails in a short period. Use the most recent verification message, as older links may expire.

Verification Link Expired

Verification links may only remain valid for a limited period.

If the link has expired:

  1. Return to the Wistudi sign-in page.
  2. Enter your account email address.
  3. Select the option to resend the verification email.
  4. Open the newest email.
  5. Select the new verification link.

If verification continues to fail, contact Wistudi Support.

Joining Through a Shared Link

You may create your account after opening a shared Flow or Interactive Video link.

In this situation:

  1. Open the link provided by the creator or instructor.
  2. Select Sign Up if you do not already have an account.
  3. Complete the registration form.
  4. Verify your email address when required.
  5. Complete the initial onboarding steps.
  6. Return to the shared learning experience.

Wistudi should redirect you back to the original Flow or Interactive Video after registration and onboarding.

If you are not returned automatically, open the original link again while signed in.

Creating an Account Through an Invitation

An organisation, instructor, or creator may invite you to Wistudi by email.

The invitation may include:

  • A sign-up link
  • A learning experience link
  • An organisation or group invitation
  • Instructions from the sender

Use the email address that received the invitation unless you were instructed otherwise.

Using a different email address may prevent the invitation or assigned content from being linked to your account.

Completing Initial Account Setup

After registration, Wistudi may ask you to complete several introductory steps.

These may include:

  • Confirming your name
  • Uploading a profile image
  • Selecting your role or occupation
  • Choosing learning interests
  • Choosing preferred categories
  • Confirming your language
  • Reviewing Learner Space and Creator Space

The exact steps may depend on the current platform version and how you joined Wistudi.

Complete all required steps before continuing.

Choosing Your Interests

During onboarding, you may be asked to choose categories or topics that interest you.

These choices can help Wistudi personalise:

  • Recommended content
  • Discover results
  • Dashboard suggestions
  • Learning categories

You may be able to select up to five categories.

Choose the topics that are most relevant to what you want to learn or create.

You may be able to update these choices later from your profile or account settings.

Choosing How You Will Use Wistudi

Wistudi may ask whether you plan to use the platform as a:

  • Learner
  • Creator
  • Educator
  • Trainer
  • Business user
  • Content creator

This information helps personalise the initial experience.

Your choice does not permanently restrict your account.

You can still switch between Learner Space and Creator Space and use more than one role.

One Account for Learning and Creating

You do not need separate accounts for different parts of Wistudi.

The same account can be used to:

  • Complete Flows
  • Watch Interactive Videos
  • Create learning content
  • Publish content
  • Share content
  • Manage learners
  • Review reports
  • Participate in content created by others

Use the space switcher to move between Learner Space and Creator Space.

Using the Correct Email Address

Your email address may be linked to:

  • Shared learning access
  • Invitations
  • Progress records
  • Reports
  • Organisation access
  • Password recovery
  • Account notifications

Avoid creating multiple accounts with different email addresses unless there is a clear reason.

Using multiple accounts may separate your:

  • Learning progress
  • Created content
  • Learner reports
  • Invitations
  • Account permissions

If you accidentally create more than one account, contact Wistudi Support before continuing to use both.

Account Already Exists

If Wistudi says the email address is already registered, do not create another account.

Instead:

  1. Return to the sign-in page.
  2. Enter the existing email address.
  3. Try signing in.
  4. Use Forgot Password if you cannot remember the password.

You may already have an account from a previous invitation, workshop, or shared learning experience.

Sign-Up Page Does Not Load

If the registration page does not load correctly:

  1. Refresh the page.
  2. Check your internet connection.
  3. Open Wistudi in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
  4. Update your browser.
  5. Disable browser extensions that may block scripts.
  6. Open the page in a private or incognito window.
  7. Try again on a desktop or laptop.

Avoid registering through an in-app browser opened inside a messaging or social media application.

Registration Form Does Not Submit

If the form does not submit:

  • Check that all required fields are complete.
  • Confirm that the email address is correctly formatted.
  • Make sure both password fields match.
  • Accept all required terms.
  • Check whether an error message appears.
  • Refresh the page and try again.
  • Try a different supported browser.

Do not repeatedly select the submit button while the page is processing.

Creating an Account on Mobile

Account registration may work on some mobile devices, but Wistudi is currently designed primarily for desktop use.

For the most reliable experience:

  • Register using a desktop or laptop
  • Complete onboarding on a supported browser
  • Open shared learning content on desktop when possible

Some parts of the platform may display a desktop-only notice.

Personal and Organisation Accounts

You may use Wistudi independently or through a school, company, training provider, or organisation.

An organisation may:

  • Invite you with a specific email address
  • Manage your access
  • Assign learning content
  • Apply account policies
  • Provide additional instructions

Follow the organisation’s sign-up instructions when they differ from the standard process.

Protecting Your Account

After creating your account:

  • Keep your password private.
  • Sign out on shared devices.
  • Do not allow another person to complete graded work using your account.
  • Check that your email address is correct.
  • Use password recovery immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • Avoid saving your password on a public or shared computer.

Your account may contain private learning records, submissions, reports, and created content.
