Signing In and Recovering Your Account
Signing in gives you access to your Wistudi learning content, Creator Space, Workspace, reports, profile, and saved progress.
This guide explains how to sign in, sign out, reset your password, and resolve common account access problems.
Before You Sign In
Make sure you have:
- The email address linked to your Wistudi account
- Your current password
- Access to your email account
- A supported browser
- A stable internet connection
Use the same email address you used when registering or receiving an invitation.
Signing In to Wistudi
1. Open Wistudi
Open the Wistudi platform in a supported browser.
For the best experience, use:
- Google Chrome
- Microsoft Edge
- Mozilla Firefox
- Safari on macOS
A desktop or laptop is recommended.
2. Select Sign In
From the Wistudi welcome or access page, select Sign In.
You may also be taken directly to the sign-in page when opening protected content.
3. Enter Your Account Details
Enter:
- Your registered email address
- Your password
Check that your email address is typed correctly and does not contain extra spaces.
4. Complete Sign In
Select Sign In.
If the details are correct, Wistudi will open your account.
Depending on how you entered the platform, you may be taken to:
- Your Dashboard
- Learner Space
- Creator Space
- A shared Flow
- A shared Interactive Video
- An invitation or assigned learning experience
Signing In Through a Shared Link
A creator, instructor, or organisation may send you a direct link to a Flow or Interactive Video.
When opening the link:
- Select the shared link.
- Sign in when prompted.
- Complete any required onboarding steps.
- Continue to the shared learning experience.
Wistudi should return you to the original content after sign-in.
If it does not, open the original shared link again while signed in.
Signing In Through an Invitation
You may receive an invitation by email.
The invitation may provide access to:
- A Flow
- An Interactive Video
- A live learning session
- An organisation
- A learner group
- A private learning experience
Use the same email address that received the invitation.
Using a different email address may prevent the invitation from being connected to your account.
If Your Email Has Not Been Verified
Wistudi may require email verification before allowing full access.
If your account is not verified:
- Check your inbox for the Wistudi verification email.
- Open the newest verification message.
- Select the verification link.
- Return to the sign-in page.
- Sign in again.
If the link has expired, request a new verification email.
Signing Out
Sign out whenever you finish using Wistudi on a shared, public, or unfamiliar device.
How to sign out
- Open your profile menu.
- Select Sign Out.
- Wait for the sign-in or welcome page to appear.
Signing out helps protect:
- Personal information
- Learning progress
- Submissions
- Reports
- Created content
- Account settings
Do not simply close the browser when using a shared device.
Staying Signed In
Your browser may keep you signed in between sessions.
This is useful on a private device but should be avoided on:
- Public computers
- Shared school devices
- Workplace devices used by several people
- Internet cafés
- Borrowed devices
Always sign out after using Wistudi on a shared device.
Forgotten Password
If you cannot remember your password, use the password recovery option.
Resetting your password
- Open the Wistudi sign-in page.
- Select Forgot Password.
- Enter the email address linked to your account.
- Select the reset or recovery action.
- Check your email inbox.
- Open the password reset email.
- Select the reset link.
- Create a new password.
- Return to Wistudi and sign in.
Use the most recent reset email, as older links may expire.
Choosing a New Password
Your new password should:
- Be different from your previous password
- Be unique to Wistudi
- Include a mix of letters and numbers
- Include uppercase and lowercase characters when supported
- Include a symbol when supported
- Avoid names, birthdays, or common words
- Not be reused from another account
Do not share your password with anyone.
Password Reset Email Not Received
The email may take a few minutes to arrive.
Check:
- Spam or junk folders
- Promotions or updates folders
- Whether the email address was entered correctly
- Whether your mailbox is full
- School or workplace email filters
- Blocked sender settings
You may request another password reset email.
Avoid submitting many requests in a short period. Use the newest email you receive.
Password Reset Link Expired
Reset links may only work for a limited time.
If the link has expired:
- Return to the sign-in page.
- Select Forgot Password again.
- Request a new reset email.
- Open the newest message.
- Create your new password.
Older password reset links may stop working once a new link has been issued.
Incorrect Email or Password
If Wistudi reports that your details are incorrect:
- Check the spelling of your email address.
- Confirm that Caps Lock is not enabled.
- Make sure there are no spaces before or after the email.
- Check that you are using the correct password.
- Try typing the password instead of using autofill.
- Use Forgot Password if needed.
Do not create a second account simply because you cannot remember the password.
Account Not Found
If Wistudi cannot find your account, consider whether:
- You registered using another email address.
- You used a school or workplace email.
- The account registration was never completed.
- Your email address contains a typing mistake.
- You joined using an invitation sent to another address.
Search your email inbox for previous Wistudi messages to confirm which address you used.
Account Already Exists
If you are trying to register and Wistudi says the email already exists, return to the sign-in page.
Try:
- Signing in with that email address.
- Resetting the password.
- Checking whether the account was created through an earlier invitation.
- Contacting Support if you still cannot gain access.
Creating another account may separate your learning progress and content.
Locked Account
Wistudi may temporarily restrict access after several unsuccessful sign-in attempts.
If your account appears locked:
- Stop attempting to sign in repeatedly.
- Wait briefly before trying again.
- Reset your password.
- Confirm that you are using the correct email address.
- Contact Support if access is not restored.
Temporary restrictions help protect accounts from unauthorised access.
Signing In on a New Device
When signing in from a new device or location, Wistudi may require additional verification.
You may be asked to:
- Verify your email address
- Confirm your identity
- Re-enter your password
- Approve browser permissions
- Complete security checks
Follow the on-screen instructions.
Browser Autofill Problems
A browser may automatically enter an outdated password or the wrong email address.
If sign-in fails:
- Clear the automatically filled details.
- Type the correct email and password manually.
- Update the saved password in your browser.
- Remove old Wistudi sign-in details if necessary.
Autofill issues are common when more than one person uses the same device.
Signing In with Multiple Accounts
Using more than one Wistudi account can cause confusion.
You may accidentally open content with the wrong account, especially when:
- You have personal and organisation email addresses.
- You joined different experiences using different emails.
- The browser automatically signs in to an older account.
Before opening shared content, check the active account from the profile menu.
If you need to use another account:
- Sign out.
- Return to the sign-in page.
- Enter the correct email address.
- Open the shared link again.
Shared Link Opens the Wrong Account
If shared content opens under the wrong account:
- Check the profile name and email address.
- Sign out.
- Sign in using the email address that received the link.
- Open the original link again.
The correct account is important because learner access, progress, and reports may be linked to the email used to join.
Shared Content Does Not Open After Sign-In
If you are signed in but cannot access the shared Flow or Interactive Video:
- Open the original shared link again.
- Confirm that you are using the invited email address.
- Check whether the link has expired.
- Check whether the access limit has been reached.
- Ask the creator whether access is still active.
- Confirm that the content has not been archived or disabled.
- Contact Support if the problem continues.
Signing in does not automatically provide access to every private learning experience.
Sign-In Page Keeps Reloading
If the page repeatedly reloads or returns you to sign-in:
- Refresh the browser.
- Confirm that cookies are enabled.
- Allow local browser storage.
- Clear the Wistudi browser cache.
- Open Wistudi in a private or incognito window.
- Disable extensions that block cookies or scripts.
- Try another supported browser.
This issue may occur when the browser cannot save the active sign-in session.
Sign-In Button Does Not Work
If the sign-in button does not respond:
- Confirm that all required fields are complete.
- Check your internet connection.
- Refresh the page.
- Update your browser.
- Disable script-blocking extensions.
- Try Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
- Use a desktop or laptop.
Do not repeatedly select the button while the page is processing.
Browser or Network Restrictions
School or workplace networks may block:
- Account authentication
- Email verification
- Sign-in redirects
- Cookies
- External identity services
- Pop-up windows
If Wistudi works on another network but not on your organisation’s network, contact your IT administrator.
Clearing Your Browser Cache
Clearing the cache may help when the platform loads outdated or incomplete information.
The exact steps depend on your browser, but generally:
- Open browser settings.
- Find privacy or browsing data.
- Select cached files and images.
- Clear the selected data.
- Close and reopen the browser.
- Sign in again.
Clearing cookies may also sign you out of other websites.
Using a Private or Incognito Window
A private browser window can help test whether saved cookies, extensions, or autofill are causing the problem.
Open a private or incognito window, then:
- Go to Wistudi.
- Enter your email and password manually.
- Try signing in.
- Open the relevant shared link.
If sign-in works there, the issue is likely related to the browser’s saved data or extensions.
Changing Your Password While Signed In
If Wistudi provides a password option in account settings:
- Open your profile menu.
- Open Account Settings or Security.
- Select the password option.
- Enter your current password.
- Enter and confirm the new password.
- Save the change.
The exact option may depend on the current platform release.
If no password option is available, use the password recovery process.
Security After a Password Change
After changing or resetting your password:
- Update any saved password in your browser.
- Sign in again on your main device.
- Sign out of shared devices.
- Do not reuse the old password.
- Review your account information.
- Contact Support if you notice unfamiliar activity.
Suspected Unauthorised Access
If you believe another person has accessed your account:
- Reset your password immediately.
- Sign out of Wistudi on shared devices.
- Check your profile and account information.
- Review recently accessed content.
- Contact Wistudi Support.
- Notify your school or organisation administrator when relevant.
Do not share your sign-in details with other learners or team members.
Deactivated or Restricted Account
An account may be restricted by:
- An organisation administrator
- A security action
- An account policy
- A platform issue
- A suspended organisation membership
If you cannot sign in and password recovery does not help, contact the organisation that provided your access or Wistudi Support.
