Starting Your First Learning Experience
After opening a shared Flow or Interactive Video, you can begin learning directly from the experience page.
The available actions may vary depending on the content type, your progress, and the creator’s settings.
Before You Start
Before beginning, check:
- The title and description
- The creator or instructor
- Any completion requirements
- Passing requirements, when applicable
- Whether the experience is self-paced or live
- Whether any activities are required
For the best experience, use a supported desktop browser and a stable internet connection.
Starting a Flow
A Flow is a structured learning experience made up of Pages and Blocks.
To begin:
- Open the Flow.
- Review the overview or introduction.
- Select Enter Flow or Start Lesson.
- Open the first available Page.
- Follow the content and activity instructions.
Some Pages may be locked until earlier requirements are completed.
Starting an Interactive Video
An Interactive Video includes checkpoints that appear while the video plays.
To begin:
- Open the Interactive Video.
- Review the title, description, and requirements.
- Select Watch Now or Start Lesson.
- Play the video.
- Complete each checkpoint when it appears.
Depending on the learning mode, you may need to complete or pass a checkpoint before continuing.
Completing Activities
A learning experience may include:
- Multiple-choice questions
- True or false questions
- Picture quizzes
- Sorting activities
- Reflections
- Discussions
- Written responses
- Assignments
- Polls
- Whiteboards
Read the instructions before submitting your response.
Some activities are graded automatically. Others may require manual review from an instructor.
Required Activities
A required activity must be completed before you can finish the Page or continue through the learning experience.
Required does not always mean graded.
For example, a reflection may be required even when it does not contribute to your score.
Attempts and Passing
Some activities allow more than one attempt.
The activity may show:
- Attempts available
- Attempts used
- Your current score
- Whether you passed
- Whether another attempt is allowed
If the creator has set a passing requirement, you may need to achieve the minimum score before continuing or completing the experience.
Saving Your Progress
Wistudi records your progress while you learn.
Your saved activity may include:
- Pages completed
- Checkpoints completed
- Responses submitted
- Scores
- Attempts
- Current position
Make sure an activity is fully submitted before leaving the page.
Leaving and Returning Later
You can usually leave a self-paced experience and return later.
To continue:
- Sign in to Wistudi.
- Open Learner Space.
- Find the experience in Continue Learning, Library, or Shared With Me.
- Select Continue or Resume.
You may also reopen the original shared link.
Reviewing Your Results
After completing activities, you may be able to review:
- Scores
- Correct and incorrect answers
- Completion progress
- Feedback
- Submission status
- Attempts used
- Pass or completion result
Some results appear immediately. Manually reviewed activities may remain marked as Pending until the instructor responds.
Completing the Experience
A learning experience is complete when you meet its completion requirements.
These may include:
- Viewing required content
- Completing required Pages
- Completing required activities
- Passing selected activities
- Reaching the end of the Flow or video
Completion and passing are not always the same.
You may complete all required work but still not pass if your score is below the passing mark.
Reviewing Completed Content
After completion, the available action may change to Review.
Reviewing may allow you to:
- Reopen the experience
- View your results
- Read instructor feedback
- Check completed activities
- Review the learning content
Whether you can retake activities depends on the creator’s settings.
Live Learning Experiences
If the content is being delivered through Live Share:
- Join at the scheduled time.
- Follow the instructor’s guidance.
- Wait for locked Pages to be released.
- Complete activities when instructed.
- Keep the session open until the instructor finishes.
Live sessions may provide less freedom to move ahead independently.
If You Cannot Continue
Check whether:
- A required activity is incomplete.
- A checkpoint still needs to be completed.
- You have used all available attempts.
- The instructor has not yet unlocked the next Page.
- Your submission is still processing.
- The learning experience has ended or expired.
Look for a pending, locked, or required label near the activity or navigation.
