Accessing Content Shared With You

Wistudi allows creators, educators, and trainers to share Flows and Interactive Videos directly with learners.

Shared content may be delivered through a standard link, a controlled private link, or a Live Share session. In most cases, you must sign in before your progress and activity can be recorded.

Opening a Shared Link

To access shared content:

  1. Select the link sent by the creator or instructor.
  2. Wistudi will open the relevant Flow or Interactive Video.
  3. Sign in when prompted.
  4. Create an account if you do not already have one.
  5. Complete any required onboarding steps.
  6. Continue to the shared learning experience.

After signing in, Wistudi should return you to the content you originally opened.

If it does not, open the original shared link again while signed in.

Signing In with the Correct Account

Use the same email address that received the invitation or shared link whenever possible.

Your access, progress, submissions, and results are connected to your Wistudi account.

Using a different account may mean:

  • The shared content does not open
  • Your progress is recorded separately
  • The instructor cannot identify your activity correctly
  • The content does not appear in Learner Space

Before beginning, check your name or profile icon to confirm that the correct account is active.

Where Shared Content Appears

After accessing shared content, it may appear in:

  • Shared With Me
  • Library
  • Continue Learning
  • Your Learner Dashboard
  • The original shared link

The exact location may depend on how the content was shared and whether you have already started it.

Standard Share

Standard Share is used for self-paced learning.

With Standard Share, you can usually:

  • Start the content when convenient
  • Complete it independently
  • Leave and return later
  • Continue from your saved progress
  • Review results and feedback when available

Standard Share is suitable for lessons, courses, training, and pre-study activities.

Live Share

Live Share is used for instructor-led learning.

You may be asked to join at a particular time while the instructor guides the session.

During Live Share:

  • The instructor may control the pace
  • Some Pages may remain locked until released
  • Activities may be completed together
  • You may need to stay in the session until it ends

Live Share content may still appear in Learner Space after the session, depending on the creator’s settings.

Private and Controlled Links

Some shared links include access controls.

These may limit:

  • How many learners can join
  • How many times the link can be used
  • Whether the link can be reused by another person
  • How long the link remains active
  • Who is permitted to access the content

Do not forward a private link unless the creator has allowed it.

Starting the Experience

After access is confirmed, select the available action.

This may appear as:

  • Enter Flow
  • Start Lesson
  • Watch Now
  • Continue
  • Resume

The action changes depending on the content type and your current progress.

Progress and Activity Tracking

When you are signed in, Wistudi may record:

  • Content started
  • Pages or checkpoints completed
  • Activity responses
  • Attempts
  • Scores
  • Submissions
  • Completion status
  • Feedback

Only activity completed under the correct account will appear in your learner record.

Returning to Shared Content

To return later:

  1. Sign in to Wistudi.
  2. Open Learner Space.
  3. Check Shared With Me, Library, or Continue Learning.
  4. Select the content.
  5. Choose Continue or Resume.

You can also reuse the original link if it remains active.

If You Cannot Access the Content

Check the following:

  • You are signed in with the correct account.
  • The link has not expired.
  • The access limit has not been reached.
  • The creator has not disabled the content.
  • You completed the required onboarding steps.

If access still fails, contact the person who shared the content or Wistudi Support.
