Understanding Your Dashboard

The Wistudi Dashboard provides a personalised overview of your activity across the platform.

What appears on the Dashboard depends on:

  • Whether you are in Learner Space or Creator Space
  • The content you have accessed or created
  • Your recent activity
  • Which features you have unlocked
  • Your account permissions
  • The current Wistudi release

The Dashboard is designed to show the most relevant information and actions without requiring you to search through the entire platform.

  • Your selected interests
  • Your chosen categories

A notice or tooltip may appear when a new feature becomes available.

  • Open Workspace
  • View Reports
  • Invite Learners
  • Continue Learning

Quick actions may change based on your recent activity.

Empty Dashboard States

When you first join Wistudi, some Dashboard sections may be empty.

An empty state should explain:

  • Why no content appears
  • What you can do next
  • Which action will add content to the section

Examples include:

  • No Lessons Found
  • No Learning in Progress
  • No Content Created
  • No Learner Activity Yet
  • No Reports Available

The empty state may include an action such as:

  • Browse Discover
  • Create a Flow
  • Create an Interactive Video
  • Open Shared Content
  • Go to Workspace

How the Dashboard Changes Over Time

The Dashboard is not a fixed page.

It may change as you:

  • Complete onboarding
  • Access learning content
  • Create your first Flow
  • Publish content
  • Share with learners
  • Receive submissions
  • Unlock Creator Tools
  • Unlock Analytics

New sections may appear when they become relevant.

Less useful sections may move lower on the page or disappear temporarily.

Dashboard Cards

Dashboard information may be presented using cards.

A card may include:

  • Title
  • Description
  • Status
  • Progress
  • Thumbnail
  • Date
  • Primary action
  • Secondary actions

Select the card or its main action to open the related content.

Status Indicators

Dashboard cards may use status labels to show the current state.

Common content statuses include:

  • Draft
  • Published
  • Unlisted
  • Archived
  • In Review
  • Needs Attention

Common learner statuses include:

  • Not Started
  • In Progress
  • Completed
  • Passed
  • Not Passed
  • Pending
  • Submitted

Status labels help you understand what action is needed next.

Progress Indicators

Progress may be shown using:

  • Percentage
  • Progress bar
  • Completed items
  • Remaining activities
  • Current Page
  • Checkpoints completed

Progress can help learners decide where to continue and help creators identify learners who may need support.

Dashboard Filters

Some Dashboard sections may include filters.

These may allow you to narrow results by:

  • Content type
  • Status
  • Date
  • Share Mode
  • Learning mode
  • Learner activity

Filters only affect the current view. They do not delete or change content.

Refreshing Dashboard Information

Dashboard information may update automatically after an action.

In some cases, you may need to refresh the page after:

  • Publishing content
  • Completing an activity
  • Receiving a new submission
  • Changing profile information
  • Switching spaces
  • Unlocking a feature

Allow a short time for newly recorded activity to appear.

Dashboard Differences Between Users

Two users may see different Dashboard layouts.

This may happen because they have different:

  • Roles
  • Spaces
  • Permissions
  • Account activity
  • Feature unlocks
  • Shared content
  • Organisation settings

This is expected and does not necessarily indicate a problem.
